does anyone here use a marantz m-cr603?

im thinking of selling on and downsizing my rotel 1062/1072 amp and cd to something smaller. its a wasted system as i now live in a terraced cottage and they rarely goes over 1/4 volume.

i also have the quad 11L's for the musical side, ran through some awfully expensive ecosse cabling.

my main interest of this marantz unit is the streaming capability from i tunes and phone. and hopefully spotify

will the unit be able to power these 86db 6ohm speakers properly? they wuote 60w output but i doubt this is rms

The Marantz will easily run the Quad's. It is actually a very good unit and could run larger or better speakers. The streaming works very well and the ipod app is a nice touch.

We stock it and I have one in my office so know it quite well. The Marantz is a very good alternative for single zone Sonos customers.
