What 5.1 home cinema set up for around £500

I have to admit all home cinema confuses me somewhat. I'm looking for a 5.1 system but really have no idea what to go for.

Onkyo seems good value on Amazon but having a read around everyone seems to talking about the sub switching itself off.

Anyway, would love any suggestions.

I have the Onkyo HTS 3305,

Brought it from ritcher sounds for about £280 if i remember correctly, its been great so far,

whatever you get, just make sure you spend twice as much on the cable

Just go to the biggest richer sounds near you, tell them what you currently have (tv, ps3, ect ect) show them the £500 and see what they show you.
