Still not convinced of the 'worthwhileness' of going to the hassle of wall mounting the new TV as it's on a wall in the eaves of the house and is currently stood on a small wooden thing that has it at pretty much the correct height.
I want to change the small wooden thing for something a bit more upmarket, is there anywhere around that sells smallish stands? I don't need the big stuff that holds Blueray player, amp, games console etc as they are hidden away at the side of the room.

What about a cantilever type stand? Keep cables hidden and get the clean look with the right height for the screen?

What size is your screen?

It's a 50", some nice stands on those pages, but the one in your link still has the shelves beneath it.

Can recommend them too, I bought my new HiFi stand from them just before Christmas.
