New TV interfering with Virgin remore control?
Discussion
I have just bought a new TV, a Panasonic 37inch LCD. It replaced an old CRT TV. As soon as it was all connected the Virgin remote control went funny. You'd press a button and nothing would happen for up to 30 seconds, then it would flick through 5 channels rather than the 1 requsted by pressing the button once.
I read online that the flat screen may be interfering with the remote control signal so moved the Virgin box as far back on the stand as possible. This half solved the problem as the remote now does as I ask but only after 'warming up'.
When ever I turn the TV on, I have to wait at least 5 mins before the remote control works properly. Try changing channels before 5 mins is up and channels change at random or not at all.
Any ideas what to do as I'm bored of having to 'warm' the TV and remote up in preparation to watch what I choose.
Cheers in advance.
