Is there anyone able to give me some pointers on how to get started with programming RS232 control for a Pronto?

Not something I've done before, and I'm struggling to find any decent info on t'internet.

Universal remote control, ::like so::

It connects to an extender, which in turn can do RS232 control of other kit - namely a Russound CAA66 and a Smart-e SmartMix.

Although I haven't done it myself, I've seen my programmers/engineers do it and it is pretty simple. Give me a kit list of what you have and I'll help if I can.

Pronto 9600 with RFX9600 extender.

Russound CAA66 and Smart-e Smartmix are the two devices needing RS232 control, everything else is IR (and already under control through the Pronto).

I have a copy of the Russound RS232 protocol list (it is horribly complicated!!) - drop me an email and I'll forward it over to you and try and offer some guidance!
