Who remembers the CD green pen ?
Discussion
Back in the mid/late 80's ,this green pen came out that was applied to the inner and outer edges of the disc claiming to improve the sound quality..Most of my collection is still wearing this dam stuff ... It never made a blind bit of difference !!.... LOL..Anybody else here still with green edged discs??

There was also an article in a very high brow American Hi-Fi mag that reckoned that
Hi-Fi sounded better when there was no one in the listening room!!!!
Jimbeaux might kill me for this but, maybe, a slimmer profile helps when appreciating those waves.Hi-Fi sounded better when there was no one in the listening room!!!!
Don't want them bouncing back to the source, then coming back, etc.

I seem to remember this being put on discs that would go into (early) car multi cd changers (to stop chipping/dust coming from the edges ??)Talking about 1990/1991
