Best way to go about wiring this up...
Discussion
Just a quick post (hopefully) to see what my options are with regards to wiring up some speakers to my tv/xbox.
Setup is as follows -
32in Alba LCD Tv
Xbox 360
Freeview Plus box
Yamaha amp (old skool one)
Set of speakers
Now, Ideally I would like everything to be outputted through the speakers but I'm finding it hard to work out how to go about it.
The TV doesn't have a dedicated audio output. It has a HDMI in, RCA in, and one scart socket. The Xbox is connected through the RCA input and the Freeview plus box is connected via the scart. The Freeview plus box has one unused scart input. The amp only has one input.
Now, in the past I have used a scart socket and an adapter to reverse the socket to make it an output. I would do this but can't as the TV only has one scart socket which is already in use by the freeview box.
As it stands now, I can easily just connect the xbox up to the amp but Ideally I would like the TV output too but not sure how to go about getting a signal from it.
Anyone got any ideas?
