I live in France and have a Foxsat HDR but am also thinking of getting Sky. Obviously Sky aren't going to come and install a decoder in my house and I've already installed the dish for the Foxsat.

What's the latest and best version of the Sky Digibox and where can I relaibly buy an example of which?

I don't know whether to go for Sky or Sky+ HD so maybe a +HD box would be best.

ETA I have found a new Armstrad DRX890 on Ebay. Is this any good?

Do you already have a subscription? If not you will need one, this will need to be in the UK. They will supply a box free I expect.

Don't already have a subscription do already have a UK address. I believe if they supply a free box they insist on installing it.

Could anybody who has Sky+ HD at least tell me what the make/model/year of their box is and if it's any good? smile

Sky insisted on trying to charge my bro an installation fee recently, but he argued that as he already had a dish they should send it to him so he could just connect it up himself. They agreed. Suggest maybe you could try the same - by the way, there is a cashback deal on sky via www.quidco.co.uk IIRC.
