Swapping sky for virgin query

We are spending £70 a month sky and I need new faster bband so I'm thinking of changing the whole package.

With our sky we have a separte box and mirror card in the bedroom which is essential as the mrs watches and records utter crap in bulk hence we have separate pvr's

Can this be done with virgin ? I called virgin and they said on demand coverd it but can you use two at once ?

You just get two Virgin boxes.

Then you can watch the on demand stuff on one, whilst someone else is watching the other.

Obviously you'll need a coax cable to be run to the bedroom for the 2nd box.

The cost of the additional box is minimal (something like £10 per month from memory).

Cheers - Im just trying to work out the cost now - it looks like it may be MORE ?

We have everything on HD (all packages) downstairs inc ESPN
Upstairs no ESPN and no HD but all else

On Virgin this is looking at £80 ish

You get the same packages on both boxes.

At least that's what I've got.

I can't remember exactly what I have (my lads set it all up - one of them has the 2nd box) but I know I'm not paying as much as £80...

We also have 50M broadband and phone.
