7th Aug Newbury Racecourse Vehicle Show - TVR Stand
Discussion
I have just phoned to confirm the pitch for TVR Nomads to attend the Classic Vehicle Show at Newbury Racecourse on the 7th Aug 2011.
If you would like to bring your TVR along and join in the fun please let me know ASAP so I can make sure we have plenty of room.
The show is billed as a "Classic" Vehicle show but they allow "other interesting vehicles" to attend so ALL TVRs are most welcome.
Either reply to this thread or PM me and I'll add you to the list and get a ticket organised for you.

No problem with turing up on the day, make sure you say you want to be part of the car show (or they may try and direct you to "visitors" parking), there is no charge for entry but they would like a donation towards Leukaemia Research if possible, and you may have to fill in a form on the day.
You may get lucky and find that a Porsche or Aston Club has space on their stand you can use, if not they will park you where ever they can.
More details of the organisers are at

Look forward to seeing you there if you can make it.

How do we get the tickets from you Wedgy. Do we really need them as above you say just turn up on the day and say you want to be in the show?
Cheers David
Normal plan is to meet in the Burger King Car Park in Newbury (post code RG14 7HZ) approx 8:30-9am and then distribute tickets and convoy to the show.Cheers David
I have I think 4 or 5 "spare" tickets, I'll call the guys tomorrow and see if they can send me a few more. Failing that they did say that we can book guys in on the day, but they would individually need to fill out some paper work.
Hope to see as many TVRs as possible on Sunday.

Thats cool I have got the guys to send me another batch of tickets just in case a few extras turn up.
They are happy for any "friends of TVRs" to be on the same part of the show as us or if they want to find a more appropriate club to find a space with that is good too.
They really are very flexible when it comes to these things.

Looks like we have at least 11 TVR's coming and I have a few spare tickets just in case.
My total was heading towards 20 I have 25 tickets but will get another 10 sent out which should cover us.
Will be good to see all the TVRs, the forecast for Sunday is dry but a little overcast.
