Hi folks

Looking back over 2011, I've been thinking about what events we did and what things might be of interest in 2012. So, I'm starting a thread to record any thoughts anyone may have that they want to consider for events next year.

So, if you have any ideas, please feel free to add them below as it will form a basis for event planning next year.

Thanks!

Heritage Motor Centre
A day out to the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon with Land rover outdoor experience, followed by a meal and run out.

Duxford Spring Car show
As per the summer show we did in August 2011, but in May 2012.

Audley End Car show
Little publicized show, but supposed to be very good and Audley End is great place to look around

Come up for a weekend in scotland !! Meet the central scotland region ( we are a great friendly region ) and stay overnight in a Castle followed by joining us for our annual summer fundraising BBQ !! - Should be early August ( First or second Sunday )

Funny thing for me is i bought my first TVR when living just outside Watford and the local meets were in Hunton Bridge and I now have the pleasure of hosting the Central Scotland Meets up here in Scotland !!! TVR Friendly to say the least and would be good to see the old regions cars again !!

Meets are at www.broomhallcastle.com on teh first sunday monthly

Hey Keri!

Just to remind people, I'm not around after this week as I'm off on business for 4-6 weeks to India/US.

If I get some time before I vanish, I'll a few things on here, but will be putting club stuff onto the back burner until
I'm back in November.

I will not be contactable during this time for club stuff, but Mal (ROCO and ex-H&B RO) will be available to cover while
I'm gone (for emails/phone calls etc) if necessary.

John will also be away during this time as he is on honeymoon.

We planned it all well hehe

Yes, I enjoyed writing that article. It was fun! I was a bit disappointed the one I did on Duxford did not come out at the same time as well, but maybe that's in next month's...

Morgan factory would be great....

as for Toyota factory, assuming it the Derby (Burnaston) plant..... I was there building the test track, holding carpark, all the the firemain, water supply, main car parks in the financial turmoil of the early 90's .... so yes would have an interest in that too, but not for a car reason.. hehe
