Castlecombe Track Day, 9th of July, Open Pit Lane!

I just received an email from BHP Track Days listing the above track day.

They are offering places on this day as it is their 10th anniversary at the cheapy price of................£135.00 a pop!

That even includes a piece of Birthday cake!

It would be great to get a group of tivs along as a social T/D and at that price it will be a cheap day, (we're always looking for a bargain!).

We did a novice T/D at the end of last year at Snetterton that was great fun and this track suits all types.

Noise level is 100 db and I will bring a couple of extra pairs of T/D silencers along for you noisy guys.

Any of you guys interested, (in the T/D not just the cake )?

I would imagine at that price places will go quickly.

On another note, I will take the motorhome down the night before. If anyone wants to camp they can, they leave the paddock open, water and toilets available.

The webs site says @4500 revs and half a metre!!!

I quite fancy this. They (BHP) say that there will be about 40-45 cars if the event is fully booked, and they have a max 20 cars on track at any time limit, so I am informed there should only be queueing right at the start and immediately after lunch....

hmmm, I would be up for this, but 100 is a bit tough at 4.5K revs, I was 103 @ snetterton, at 4K revs I might get away with it.... I don't think TD silencers will fit mine either. Any suggestions?

Merlin motorsport is on circuit with cans if required. Not the cheapest though.

They are strict at CCC though.

Just emailed them, asked them to reserve 10 spots, (ambitious I know) and asked them to call me in the morning.

I will sign up tomorrow and keep you posted.

When we did this last year they gave us a free garage and lumped us all together!
