Lights....
Roll up slowly, light prestage, a touch further to light second stage light STOP. Try not to roll any further than you have to. This gives you a little run up to the timing light

Dont worry about the ambers till the other lane has his stage lights lit.
3 ambers..... GO when you see the 3rd amber. The light will be green before you trip the timing light. This will cut your reaction time and better your chances of winning the race but wont have any affect on your ET.
As you say, a calm and controlled launch to minimise wheelspin if any, then get to full throttle asap without breaking traction, no need for hitting rev limits, let the torque do the work. A few quick gearchanges. Keep your foot down through the finish line. Job done.

I ran 12.4 @ 111 without nitrous last year at York and an 11.6 @ 127 with gas at Shakey recently but with poor 60 foot times. Looking forward to getting the car set up properly and good conditions to see some improvements.tuscanturner said:

Best to get there by 9.Get the car scrutineered first then put the car in the RWYB pits and go sign on straight away. Then all you have to do is get in the right queue in the RWYB pits and get psyched.
