A bit out of my region this one, but as I thought it might be of interest to folks around the Liverpool/Blackpool area I decided to pass it on

Chris Griffiths, a detailer in Aintree, is having an open-day on Sunday, July 1st to celebrate the opening of his new unit and is particularly interested in having TVRs come along to the event.

Sounds like an interesting way to spend a couple of hours. I'll pop along with the Griff, not sure the paintwork is worthy of the full works but some more basic TLC is tempting.

Thanks Chris. Probably best I fetch the car for you to assess as I'm not sure twelve year old TVR paint is ever going to look perfect - actually, the paint might brush up nice, it's the bits that are missing that may be more problematic!

I've had my 1-series detailed from new, Zymol on it, etc and it's done a reasonable job of protecting the paint so definitely interested in getting the TVR done.

Maybe I'll wander over in advance and let you advise.

Ok no problems at all. At the minute in only at unit every now and then painting etc so contact me first to double check I will be in. Don't want you wasting a trip

This will be postponed. I have ordered a top of the range CCTV and Monitored Alarm system for the unit and the guy can only come next sunday. I have also been let down by several electritians and im only getting more lighting fitted this week! We also planned to have a few of my customers cars down on the day who cant now make it due to poor weather and other problems.


Sorry if this puts anyone out but im sure you all understand.
