Hi all

Just wondering when and where te next meet is ( specifically interested in Cerberas but all TVRs are of high interest).

In Reading based and would like to meet up to see real life cars chat to owners warts and all engines chassis interiors etc rather than the Internet giving answers.

The TVRCC chaps used to meet at The Peacock near Bracknell but I'm not sure if they still do. Perhaps post a note in the Surrey Thames Valley section?

Yep we still meet there and only have 2 Cerbs at the moment, Gruffalo & Touching Cloth so it would be good to have another ! The Berkshire region died out a bit over the past few years due to no RO but last year Phil and myself took it on and it's growing quite fast.

The Berkshire Region meets on the third Tuesday of each month at Peacock Farm, Bracknell, just off junction 10 of the M4 - http://peacockfarm.co.uk/.

As WB's a non TVR owner you'd best point him to the Chatsworth thread and pics smile

Great, smile I will give it another try, used to go about 2 years ago but was disappointed with the meetings last time. To reserved and quiet. Arrived, sat down, ate a meal and left same each month. I normally have plenty to say even in an empty room but this lot were just hard bloody work.

Will see you all there hopefully on the 16th as I only live about 3 miles away.

NB.

ACE CAFE is always good, they have a TVR, lotus, Noble combined meet each month 17th April I think. Lots more going on nice cars good atmosphere and a few lunatics. If the weather is good you can guarantee a good turn out.

Oh dear, it's definitely not like that now. I normally turn up about 7:30pm thinking I'll stay for an hour or 2 then end up staying till about 11.
I think it helps that it's a re-born region so to speak to everyone is fairly new meaning there are no "clicky" groups that you tend to get with other clubs. There's quite a few humours characters in the group so it's definitely not quiet anymore we have plenty of laughs and banter ! Hope to see you all soon smile

Need to sell the Chimaera first. Stupidly put the roof down the other day in the workshop so ot was fairly warm, went for a blast down the 329 when it was pretty cold and got home put the roof back up amd the damn screen split. So I need a roof re trim now. To be fair I was thinking aboit doing it anyway because its the only thing that let's the whole car down now.

Is there a way to get to this meeting without going via the M4/A329M (from the west of Reading)?

It was much nicer (back roads) drive to the old venue just off J11, but as others have said was VERY insular at that time.

I'd love to come along but would like a "hoon" on the way there not a "boring" motorway drive.

Maybe something via Tadley is possible? I did look at going cross country (Hartley Witney and then A30 etc.) and up from the M3 end but that seems a very long way round?
