On 19th October Santa Pod have a "Run What Ya Brung" - it a special all day event from 9am to 9pm - so night time drag racing, so calling TVR's that shoot flames smile

A number of TVR PHer's are already confirmed -
  • SILICONEKID343HP
  • db484bhpv8
  • Phazed
  • macdeb
  • Me + Engineer1949
If you have never done a 1/4 mile it is huge amounts of fun and lots of time to chat to other folk while you wait for next run - I have only been once but instantly hooked - see my video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2feWPPHtSw - if you fast forward to 2 minutes you will see Daz beat me! to be fixed this time round wink

Answers to common questions

1) You do not need a Crash helmet unless you go the speed Derek does
2) No extra insurance required
3) £30 for 9am - 9pm (£25 - for 9am - 4pm)

Looking forward to this, hope it doesn't rain or it will be pointless!

Just watched the video Nick, you'll have to have made good improvements to beat Daz, he has a strong motor and " the technique"!

Nigel, are you in?

I think Nick has a few more PSI from the charger wink
Dont let the weather put you off Peter. Only if its really bad.
A little rain hear and there wont close the track all day. It dries fast and we have a full 12 hours to play!
Have you sorted digs for Saturday? I am thinking of booking somewhere for the Friday night but willing to camp on the Saturday and get bevvied

Not camping this time, (not without a motor home! I'm not as hardy as yousmile) .

Can't stay either, already booked up later in the evening with wifey and others.

I will be there for an early start and make use of that cool, dense, early air!

I just fitted a smaller number plate and with my faired in headlamps for less air resistance I'm expecting good results rolleyes

Another old motorhome is on the cards for the spring so we should arrange an Easter or thereabouts meet.
