Ladies & gentlemen, don't forget that it is the Prescott "La vie en bleu" weekend on the 24th and 25th of May and that 23 TVRs will be competing at the "Invited Clubs" day on Saturday 24th. Why not come and watch, it's a great day out in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside, watch some motorsport, have an ice-cream (or a beer!) in the sunshine, meet the drivers and see the cars up close (no closed paddocks in hill climbing), listen to the commentary team mis-pronounce "Chimaera" and have an all-round good time.

Prescott Hillclimb is near Gotherington, Cheltenham, Gloucs;

Buy tickets on-line here;

http://www.prescott-hillclimb.com/la_vie_en_bleu.a...

Don't forget, the TVRs are only there on Saturday 24th! First practise runs (for the TVRs) will start at about 09:45 and timed runs about 2:30.

Better yet, why not "put some numbers on it" and have a go yourself next year?

See how it's done;

And how it isn't;

Now to go and see if I can track down the misfire on my Chimaera!

Looking forward to itsmile

Great entry list, and there'll be plenty of support from TVRs in the Orchard Car Park as usual.

Is there going to be a exclusive group area we could park.
Going other years. Seems as though there may be?

There is an exclusive group area, although sometimes (in my opinion of course) not all the marshalls know about it. You should need a carpass to get into the TVR parking area in the Orchard. Flyin Banana has arranged this for Cotswold Three Counties. Mike (RO for Oxford) has probably done similar for their Region.

As it is such a popular event, in previous years the general public have been sent to a field to park!

Unless you are competing, most of the areas are for owners clubs of French cars. La Vie en Bleu is a French themed weekend.

I will be there with the Renault Alpine Owners Club

Its a great weekend, like the Goodwood Revivial only less commercialised and more French smile

Cheers Nick/ Bob
Yes we've been going for 20+ years love Prescott and La Vie en Bleu.
Last year we saw that TVR had quite an area in Orchard.
Ok looks like I'm best to speak to our Local RO West Mids Steve Guest and take it from there.

Regards
Simon

That's ok, I'm doing a rain dance for this weekend- it's the only way we'll get anywhere near Moggy & Mike at Wiscombe…..
