Mid Essex Meet Today.

Sorry that there was no Mid Essex thread this month. Someone mailed me to put up a thread and I put it in the General Events forum and not the TVR Events Forum..........it's my age.......getting on you know.

A HUGE thank you to Lorraine and all the Guys and Gals from the Lamborghini Club for attending the Meet today.

13 lovely Lambos graced the drive at the Forrester's and looked absolutely magnificent, along with 42 TVRs.
A great turnout and I thank all the members of Mid Essex for their support, especially our Peter Reason who organised and liased with the Guest Club..
Upstairs was busy, the drive was busy and we all had a great afternoon.
It is always a pleasure to have our Lamborghini friends to visit and it would be nice to make May an annual get together for our two marques.

When we left the Forrester's the Lambo peeps were all still there enjoying the summer sunshine and busy hiring out the golf carts and having a bit of slalom action around the course!

I was on my way to a Mustang meet in Chelmsford yesterday and a few of us spotted your meet so we popped our head in for a nose around, some very nice cars indeed. Anyway whilst there I grabbed a few pics so thought I'd share in case anyone was interested.

Pete I'll have to check the diary dates for the picnic.
If we are free and the Lambo guys and gals are okay with us joining in then I don't see why we can't arrange a run there.
If I put it out to Mid Essex generally we may get a number of cars and I wouldn't want to take away any parking places from their own Lambo peeps.

Would you be good enough to have a private word with Lorraine and see how she feels about it.

Just thought I would post up that there was a guy at the Meet on Sunday, Adam, professional photographer, who asked permission to take some pictures of the cars.
he was the one who almost got run over half a dozen times as every time I looked up he was on his back in the middle of the drive

I believe he intends to bring some pics to the Meet next month.
So....if you were there on Sunday you may want to have a lookey see next month.

If he does make it to the Meet and the pics are good I will pass on his email addy to Lorraine in case anyone from the Lamborghini Club is interested in seeing them.

YP, I've replied to your email but basically we would be very keen to get the cars together for a mixed meet. We have our monthly meet at the Halfway House on the A127 this Friday evening if anyone is interested in popping along?
