Wings and Wheels at Dunsfold Sunday August 30th

Sunday August 3oth is the ever popular Wings and Wheels Event at Dunsfold (the home of Top Gear). For full details have a look at www.wingsandwheels.net. If you're planning on coming along do come over and say hello to us at the Surrey TVR display. We will have three cars on the runway as well as the static lineup so let's hope they don't put the slow bikes in front of us this year ;0) Fingers crossed for fine weather as the Vulcan, Red Arrows and Battle of Britain flypast are also just some of the things on the agenda.

Would like to be there but are there any discounted tickets available for TVRCC members as it seems the Surrey Region has an official presence?

Hi! The tickets had to be pre-ordered (closing date was July 3rd as posted on the TVRCC forum) so no tickets are available through me at this time. If you take a look at www.wingsandwheels.net you will find full details of how and where to obtain reduced price tickets which are still cheaper than just turning up on the day. This is a fantastic event and has something for everyone. The Surrey mob have a great line up of cars in attendance this year plus three TVRs going down the runway as part of the motoring demonstrations.

BTW my VERY firse TVR meet was your Brooklands day in 2007 - never looked back since. (Must've been that cake you were doling out from your gazebo )

Having just returned from Le Surrey Run 7 to Belgium and Luxemburg, here are the photos from Wings and Wheels. Videos of the track stuff will follow shortly. Great to meet so many people. The Vulcan was fantastic and I hope we see a lot more of her. Cheers, Karen
