TITT6 Surrey Convoy

Thought I had best start a list for those travelling up from Surrey/ Guildford and surrounding areas to TITT6

Usual meet place, Tesco, New Malden at usual time which will be confirmed (think its about 0445)

Hi All, this will be my first Thunder in the Tunnels and (as long as the weather is remotely reasonable!) i am really looking forward to it!

I've been meaning to go to the last couple of years and so far every year i have been busy!

I'm coming from Godalming so will be up the A3 too. Usually there is a meet at the Wisley BP services??

When you say gone, can it be repaired? as im 2 miles from you and have tools e.t.c and some common sense

Well I'm going to go and have a look at it now. Bearing in mind there is no clutch pressure, it broke down in tolworth last night, i managed to get it back to my house in first gear took 30mins though!

Its booked in with David Batty next week and Im on the lookout for a new clutch. Dont think its repairable but please come round and have a look if you like as the offer very much appreciated but.... its pretty dead. No warning signs, nothing just suddenly went. Its original clutch and i'm on 20k at the moment.

Thanks for the offer MattLux, nice one, however the misses seems to think that I can now attend a party with her instead as my car is now broke, and to be honest with the large bill coming my way for repairs think I might have a few drinks instead

Head to Tesco New Malden anyway, there will be others there, I would suggest aim to leave Tesco New Malden at around 0500 and you should maker the start point in time to get a decent space and grab a cuppa tea (although it is rancid if i recall so normally take a flask myself )

If you need the .itn file to load on your tomtom, leave a post on the forum here and i will send it over.

Yeah ill still be there at Shannon's Corner tomorrow morning,

Ive just this second put my carpets and seat back in, managed to bump start it (flat battery) took it 20 miles down the M25 seems to of charged it self back up

What time at the BP garage?

I am meeting a friend of mine (in a Lotus 'wedge!') at 5:15 which gives an hour to get to the start point and have a 15 min break before the start.
