Date? Ultimate TVR Shootout
Discussion
I have been looking at the calendar for this years TVR and other motoring events and I think we need to discuss the options in a separate thread.
If 1 date stands out then fine but if there is a debate on 2 or more dates then I think its only fair to put it to vote.
I will start the ball rolling by suggesting Saturday 18th June. The weather should be good as it¡¦s the weekend before Glastonbury
. On a personal note I don¡¦t want to clash with any York Raceway dates (which are few) and July 2nd I am sorry to say is such a date.

Hello Derek.
Firstly......thank you very much for putting in the hard work to make this happen.
It will be a real hoot!
The 18th is a good date.
You have a lot of people that already seem to want to come to your event, me included.
I am sure that many more will also want to attend as the weeks go by.
So stick with the 18th.
Those that want to go somewhere else, then fine, you can seldom please everyone all the time......boy I know that is true.
I am looking forward to it very much...........now I just have to have a plan to launch 447, yes, 447ci of sbc off the line.
Regards.
Speed eight.

Does anyone see an issue with the 18th being 2 weeks after Goodwood and 1 week before S-club Heaven?
The TVRCC events manager is expressing concerns that June is too full of events already
Its also the week after Le Mans i think, which may be an issue for me... however there are plenty saying that the 18th is good, so i will need to see nearer the timeThe TVRCC events manager is expressing concerns that June is too full of events already
