Mid Essex March meet, Sunday 13th March 2011

This coming Sunday is the second Sunday of the month which means another Mid Essex meet and another Mid Essex convoy

It would be nice for a good turnout to welcome the new RO, Jo!

We'll be meeting at the BP Garage instead of the White Hart, just further up on the MacDonald's roundabout, to gather the convoy in the lorry park.

The roundabout will then be on the 'right side' for a smoother exit for the TVRs too.


and if you're joining the Southend pose pre meet, at the bays on Thorpe Bay front by the yacht park (between Maplin Way Thorpe Hall Avenue) and between for 10.15 to 10.30 leaving at 10.45 (or thereabouts).

How do I get to the Chelsford Meet..?

1) Take the A12 towards Colchester,
2) Turn off at J19 (Boreham) – keep in the left-hand lane,
3) Take the 3rd exit,into Mcdonalds, you will see us at the rear.


The White Hart is on your left a few hundred yards further on.
If you get to the roundabout, you have gone too far..!

It's already washed and polished. Did it Sunday. I might make it to Chelmsford, depends on the, you know, entertainment Saturday night.

steve what time will you be meeting at the bp garage ? i take it that the convoy will set off by 12 ish
for the forresters

Does anyone have postcodes for the various meeting points? I might be staying in southend on sat night, or possibly Billericay so be good to try and meet the convoy somewhere.

Ended up being a late one, staying in Southend, but car in Billericay and didn't get a lift over until early afternoon. Hopefully make a future meet as not been over to the Essex meet for about 2 years! - Still a decent roast there?

Another epic fail from me

Had to go to my parents and fix a few electrical gremlins in their TV equipment which were not as described or I would have had time to drop onto the seafront to meet you as I was in Thorpe Bay doing the bl00dy job

I will try to get out the 8 Ball Diner meet on Thursday if family and weather permit
