Hi folks

This thread is currently a place holder until more information on this event is available.

The show last year was attended by a few TVRs and lots of individual classic and sports car owners from the local region, plus a few car clubs like minis, Subaru (Evos/Imprezas) and others. It is a charitable event which takes place on the Saffron Walden green and has all day catering plus a central ring/announcer event.

I've been a few times over the years (and even won the sports car category once!) but thought this year it would be nice to have an official TVR presence to show those Lambos and other supercars, what Tivs can do as well

It is free to display and I'm checking with the organiser next week to see what other things are going on this year.

This is a Non-TVRCC event, so feel free to put your name down even if you are not a TVRCC member! (Liability insurance issues however - if present - would need to be your own arrangements. There weren't any last year, but until I've confirmed the event details I can't say for sure!)

If you are interested in going, please feel free to put your name down for the event and I will keep the thread updated as more information is published.

Thanks! Alex

Spoke with the organiser tonight. We don't need to do anything booking wise other than turn up on the day. It is free and we just need to set up our pitch and that's that.

Catering will be available - burgers, coffees etc. Various events, plus a ring and announcer to parade around in. So, should be a fun, relaxed day out for the whole family.

Thanks!

PYNEY should have said:
put me down as a possible if it doesn't look like it will rain
August 14th is too far in the future for me. I'll let you know nearer the date
(and if my mechanic gets my car running)

Alex, Homebase is pretty busy on a saturday, but the focus next door has just closed down and there is plenty of room in there.
some members might like to know there is a car wash in homebase just in case they need a last minute spruce up.
hope it was ok to mention it,
Lester

Hey Lester!

Hows things, mate?

This show is on Sunday, so Homebase does not open until 10am that day, so hopefully should be ok smile

But glad to know the Focus carpark is still open if need be. I know the store shutdown, but didn't know
if the parking was also blocked up. Glad it isn't!

All the best, A.

I'm expecting to be there too - as I live only four miles away, it would be rude not to!
