Friday convoy to Chatsworth from the south

get into portsmouth for 11.45am, and will stop at southern scottney services on A34, around 12.30 ` ish?

What route are you taking?
I'm going up on Friday staying at Bakewell.
I'm further up the M3 but don't particularly want to go M25/M1. Any cross country route would be well received.

at chesterfield you can peel off onto the a619 to bakewell?

For Bakewell and Dronfield come off at M1 Jct 29, take the A617 into Chesterfield town centre, the people going to Bakewell then take the A619 as suggested by Clive, people coming to Dronfierld take the A61, Bakewell is approx 25 mins from the M1 junction.
