Derren Brown - Svengali - theories on the show!!!

I saw Derren Brown Svengali on Saturday in Birmingham...I just wondered if anyone has any theories on how he did any of it or has worked any of it out??
Also I don't know what anyone else thought, but I didn't think this show was as good? Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy it, but I was a bit disappointed - the show did not seem as long, and it didn't seem to 'gel' quite as well... but I suppose the finale to Enigma takes some beating!
