I've just noticed, I was watching an old TG on Dave, the one where they raced a Mitsu Evo rallycar and a Bowler down a hill against a kid on a skateboard. The driver was "professional racing driver Ben Collns".

Did we pick up on this back in the day?

I formed a view it might be Tiff but they didn't show enough footage of his driving style to draw any conclusion.

I haer they are trying to sign Alice Cooper and setting up a reverse direction lap in reverse....

Listening to Ben Collins autobiography "Man in the white suit" just now, very good story, lots of funny bits and histoiry about him doing the SAS training, which is very interesting.

I would recommend it, has sweary words in it so dont buy it for your kids though!

Ben Collins was also named as Top Gear's 'high speed driving consultant' in the inquiry into Hammond's accident. And he drove the car (Merc SL?) that they parachuted into a few series ago.
