Have I missed a thread for this - search is down at the mo.

Featuring Dominic West from the Wire this has been billed as a rival to Mad Men. Clips look really good and it starts on BBC2/HD at 9pm tonight.

Yeah, thumbs up from me, too.

Another excellent BBC production that will be immediately forgotten in the "The BBC is evil, communist and broadcast rubbish" threads that appear near daily in NP&E.

Yeah I thought it was very good, bit of a slow burner but well acted and produced.

Really enjoyed this as well. Great to see the BBC investing in some new and original drama.

Anyone still watching this?

The cast and production are very good, but the plot development is slower than snail on temazepam.

It is a bit slow, but they have captured the atmosphere of the era extremely well.

The visual richness is part of my enjoyment watching it.

This would NEVER be made by anyone other than the beeb.

Meanwhile on C5 & ITV, more reality ste.

They are now making programmes about the programmes.

Woeful.

Been a really good series. Great cast although I agree about the plot lines unravelling slowly. Looking forward to the last episode on Tuesday.
