Saving Private Ryan

The Lord of War opening is ace. It reminded me that the opening to another Nicolas Cage film - Snake Eyes - has a similarly continuous opening shot.

My personal favourite film intro is the first 15 minutes of 28 Weeks Later. I absolutely adore it.

Brotherhood of the Wolf

I always thought the train journey at the start of Get Carter is particularly good.

Did you know the assassin who kills Carter at the end of the film is in the carriage with him on the way up to Newcastle?
