ITV1+1

Having just seen the ad on telly for ITV1+1 (advertised on London ITV - which I watch on my sky+ box after I retuned it to get ITV HD), which said ITV1+1 is available on sky 131, why does 131 on my sky+ box comes up as "131 Channel unavailable".

I live in the Grampian region, Aberdeenshire, maybe it is only available south of the border?

ITV1+1 is for people who watch programmes like Coronation St Emmerdale Farm and the like who then have to watch it again an hour later so they get a second chance to follow the difficult bits of the plot, such as one can use the word plot.

I don't think that ITV1+1 is available on boxes which are registered north of the border.

Have you tried manually adding it as a new channel ? (on my HD box - Services > Options > Add Channels).

NB: ITV1+1 (London) is on 10.891H.

Thanks for info, I think you are right, we even have to retune the box to get ITV1 in HD, which they get in London, not north of the border. God only knows, I pays my money same as those down south.

We don't get it in N. Ireland either, we have UTV (Ulster TV) as opposed to ITV but its basically the same channel
