Not quite, but I did when watching him trying to lift the trophy after winning in Brazil with only sixth gear. It is a staggeringly powerful film, went to see it with 722Adam and we both walked out unable to speak afterwards. As did everyone else in the - pretty full - cinema. Takes some doing to do the man justice, but I think this does.If you haven't seen it, do so, I implore you! It's probably the only film that I've never heard anyone be disappointed by. Don't go out for dinner after it, mind..

Odd question- is it worth buying this on bluray rather than DVD? Most of the footage was shot on video so I can't see it being better in terms of picture. Is there any benefit (apart from extras I'll watch once) in buying the dearer package?
Good question - cant see there being a benefit (and I always usually buy BR). cuprabob said:

I did.Powerful doesn't even come close. Even though I knew a 'reasonable' amount about him and his life, I got so much from the film itself.
I've never felt like that after watching any film, be it documentary-style or otherwise. It was beautiful and sad in equal measure.
Watched this on Wednesday at my local cinema. Brilliant film. Was near to tears at the end even though I knew what was going to happen. I went with my fiancee and her mum, neither of which have been more than casual F1 viewers (although they knew who Senna was).
It's one of the few films i've seen where the audienced gasped at the sight of the crashes, and went really, really quiet at the end.
It showed Alain Prost as a bit of a villain and also showed how spiritual Senna was. I never realised before that he had such a powerful belief in God.
It was interesting to have Sid Watkins's view of the events that happened.
