This looks worth watching Season 1. Episode 1 of 2. The first of two documentaries following specialist bomb disposal teams working in Afghanistan. One soldier is halfway through his six-month tour of the war-torn country. Over the past weeks, he and his team have cleared 17 IEDs (improvised explosive devices) from a compound so it can be used as an army base. A helmet camera captures every tense moment as he defuses another bomb, knowing one false move will kill him
BBC 1 22:35 Tues 13th Sept.

Excellent show, simply showed brave men at work no "Amercanised" hype replays/shots.

Each and every one of those on the show have my upmost respect and admiration.

I have so got to look into whether I can offer my assistance to help for heroes.

Man this programme gets you thinking but these guys are HEROES without a shadow of a doubt and make me feel proud to be british.

very good.

Not often I am riveted to the seat watching TV these days. I think there are only two episodes. I would have liked more.

Incredible stuff.

Very humbling to see how that young chap, Stringer, has coped with losing half an arm and both legs. Tremendous strength of character.
