Well, I managed to track them down in their hotel at the weekend, got to chat to Hammond, May and the big JC. Spoke to JC for a while whilst they were setting up a shot, first time I've ever met the guy and he's a top chap. Spoke about engineering-y stuff, why in God's name I was living in India, and how mental the driving is here.
Most of them had heard about the driving, but had no clue it was so bad.
I tried to be very British about it all, they seemed to be tiring after all their time in India being badgered by Indians who couldn't speak very good English and were taking photo after photo. So I decided to play it cool and not ask for a photo, which I think helped somewhat.
For those who don't want to see some pictures, I've hidden them in a Spoiler tag:
They were at the visual modifcation stage, as can be seen below. JC has the XJS, May the Roller and of course, Hammond the Mini. Also note the Allegro which is the backup car.
Then they went to a tuning shop north of Delhi and made some mods, such as this:
Should be a giggle to watch.
