Saw this on Saturday and you know what?

It was bloody enjoyable. Yes it was silly, and contained some OTT unbelievable bits, but it's been a while since I saw a good old swashbuckling sword fighting film and it was a great laugh.

It doesn't take itself seriously, which i think is the key.

Plus there is the added bonus of Milla Jovovich looking damn fine, and another blonde bit of totty too...

I have the complete opposite view. There is a good reason this has totally bombed at the box office. Two couple's walked out half way through the screening we were in - and we were pretty close to doing the same. It has to be very bad for people who spent £12 per ticket to leave the film. And D'Artgagnon with that broad American accent, complete with today's US 'yoot' americanisms. And let's not forget Millady, who seemed to have forgotten her role and reverted back to Alice in the RE films, dodging bullets, impossible kung fu moves etc.It was just too unbelieveable to be fun.

I was dragged to see it by the wife and kids.

Orlando hammed it up nicely and was fun to watch, but the rest of it was desperately poor.

The American accents really grated, D'Artagnan being particularly irritating.

I preferred the bad dubbing in The Flashing Blade, and it even had an awesome theme tune.
