Brazier - A Quiz Question

Brazier - Quiz Question

" Brazier is a term for someone who works specifically with which material?"

The man answered 'Metal'
He was judged wrong,

'Brass' was the answer they wanted.

I say he was correct with the way the question is phrased.

If the question had been :-
" Brazier is a term for someone who works with which specific material?"

Then I think Brass would be the only answer.

Specifically = adverb
FOR ONE PURPOSE

Specific = adjective
PARTICULAR

What do you think ? Does it really matter ? Did to the fella, he lost £10,000.

I think you are correct, metal would be an acceptable answer for "material". They could have asked "which metal", but they did not specify...
