Just a heads up that Film4 will be showing District 13:Ultimatum tomorrow at 21:00 and again on Tuesday 1 November 2011 @ 23:20.

I've seen the first movie, District B13, so am looking forward to this.

Trailers below if you aren't familiar with these French action movies:

Just watched this.

Disappointed.

The film had a weak plot which was stretched too far to fill an unnecessarily long running time.

The parkour and fight scenes were top-notch - as expected.

Wonder if the US remake of the original will be any good: http://blogs.indiewire.com/theplaylist/archives/lu...

I thought it was more than passable. Good enough to waste the hour or so I spent watching it last night...

I think their 106Xsi was a bit tougher than my old one!

(i managed to snap the passenger side dash supporting bolt/flange off just hitting a pot hole, let alone jumping it out of a 1st floor window! ;-)

The first one was good, the second was a bit too try-hard for me, but it doesnt suprise me that the septics are going to remake it

Much as expected, it is part Luc Besson after all, but I love that kind of stuff. It's true brain off without trying too hard. US blockbuster action films just go way OTT when they don't need to.

Discovered the first B13 when using love film to search and adding Luc Besson films to our list - I recommend Angel A as one of those random films we may not have otherwise watched.
