Now we are at a point in history between the death of renting movies and the start of downloading films, so personal collections of DVDs and VHS must be at their largest, but which items do you particularly treasure? I like the '80s cool of The Wraith. You have to feel sorry for the way the poor Triumph Spitfire gets treated in this flick, lol.

Great post - I am a fan of 80s films.

I have The Wraith on video (it was shown the Sci Fi Channel (or whatever it was called) years and years ago.

Gumball Rally a must for PH's video/dvd library?

The Car was another one (but 1977) - not so well known (or well acted, plot, special effects etc etc etc), but hey there is a car in it.

I'd never heard of The Wraith until I saw some clips of it on YouTube recently.

Looks like a bit of cheesy fun. Was the main car an XJ220?

Was always a fan of Krull, and remember being quite sad when when the Cyclops fellow came riding back to help.

Legend - The baddy was Tim Curry. Tiny Tim Curry was probably the beastliest looking scary baddy. Tiny Tim Curry. The mind boggles. A decent film though.
