Shooting Stars has been axed weeping

Found this out this morning listening to the radio and I must say I'm gutted, anyone else of PH like their show? I absolutely loved it, well at least they had a good run smile

not sure really. I'm quite happy to see it go actually. The shark had most definitely been jumped on this one.

Was never as good as it was originally. But I still watched. Sad to see it go.

I'll always watch it if its on.

Really liked Angelos (mainly because he reminds me of people from school... oh what a great school it was too)

However its not until you watch the old episodes (when Jonny Vegas used to drink!) you realise how good George Doors was.

The new series wasn't a patch on the old Shooting Stars and as said George Doors was big part of it.

Personally I think it has been overtaken by Celebrity Juice and Holly Willoughby is far more yum then Ulrika.

Very True, but I still loved the newer episodes. Must saw George Doors's songs made made laugh biggrin

Loved this show when it started and still really enjoy it.

When it was resurrected a few years ago, the first series of the return of the show was a bit weak but it got better when Reeves & Mortimer found their feet again.

Gutted to see it being cancelled - another poor decision by the Beeb.

Shooting Stars: why cancel this Reeves and Mortimer gem?

I laugh like a drain when this is on, and I nearly had to stop the car when the radio played Vic doing the club singer round.

Sad to see it go, hopefully some other channel with pick it up.

Whilst not as good as the originals, there were always a few genuinely funny moments in each episode. Such as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XWPo9j8O4I

Now my TV licence only pays for Top Gear and the odd bit of Attenborough.

Gutted frown

On the plus side for anyone who likes Angelos, his own show will be on soon. Date yet to be confirmed though.

Oh and I'm on it smile
