Having been out there twice and due to go again in Apr next year, its harrowing seeing the MERT/PEDRO Helicopters flying over knowing another injured person is flying in.
As i type this the program is going on about OP MINIMISE, which stops all outside world contact due to a UK soldier injury or death. On my last tour, that happened a few times a week.

Yeah hearing the MERT cab smashing over tier2 all hours of the day is very eye opening. I was out there beginning of the summer and minimise was called loads. Heading back again in a few weeks and hoping for the guys on the ground that it's quieter.

Enjoyed the show amazing what can be achieved. Some amount of equipment available to the medics!

Really good show I thought, interesting the military experince filters down to the NHS.
When they go to Op minimise, do they really cut everything off contact wise, how far up the chain does that go ?
