To young to listen to Radio 2?
Discussion
Just wondering really, what age is it socially acceptible to turn over from say Radio 1, Kiss (if thats what it's still called
) and the like and over to radio 2?
I am 24, all of my friends still listen to radio 1 etc but i just can't seam to stand the majority music and the mind numbing chat that goes on.
So what does every one think? Am I getting too old too fast?
Now after that time for my mid afternoon nap

Radio 4 is where its at. I once beat John Humphries in an arguement. I was rather proud!
Radio 1 is pretty poor, of which Chris Moyles is the worst offender. ENDLESS banal mind numbing chatter. At least Radio 4 talks about something interesting!
By the way, 26.
That and Radio 4 comedy is basically the finest around!

I'm 25 and have recently start listening to radio 4 in the car.
Radio 1 is complete trash and Radio 2 isn't far behind (although I don't mind Jeremy Vine) and commercial stations are just intolerable, so there isn't a whole lot of choice really.
Jeremy Vine is not good for my blood pressure! Radio 1 is complete trash and Radio 2 isn't far behind (although I don't mind Jeremy Vine) and commercial stations are just intolerable, so there isn't a whole lot of choice really.
Chris Evans and Ken Bruce for me in the mornings (and depending on whether or not i'm at the office/on way to meetings), then I sometimes tolerate Steve Wright (music he plays is good but he's an idiot - much prefer it when Chris Tarrant is doing the show), then Drive Time with Simon Mayo on the way home (even better if I leave the office on time and get to the confessions at 17:40).

Christ, it sounds like Radio one in 1992!Chris Evans and Ken Bruce for me in the mornings (and depending on whether or not i'm at the office/on way to meetings), then I sometimes tolerate Steve Wright (music he plays is good but he's an idiot - much prefer it when Chris Tarrant is doing the show), then Drive Time with Simon Mayo on the way home (even better if I leave the office on time and get to the confessions at 17:40).
