The New Kermit the Frog sounds nothing like the Original.??

Watching Wossy and Kermit is on. Now I remember The Muppet show on a Sunday evening. Just after my bath, and this on sounds nothing like the Original.

I had mates at school that could do better impressions.

Wasn't jim henson the voice of kermit? IIRC after his death, his son took over but does not sound the same
