Late 80's/early 90's drama about a city investment bank and the yuppie type people who worked there (actually much more enjoyable than it sounds).

I have been watching it again on DVD. I always fancied Michelle (she drove a shed of a yellow 911). Her on/off boyfriend Declan had an Audi Quattro with the obligatory car phone, and Max was the creative pony-tailed guy with the old Bristol. I'm pretty sure all the other floor traders drove MkII GTI's...

Anyone?

Yep, I remember one episode where they had the bright idea of looking at the weather forecasts to determine if the wheat crop or something would be good and hence be able to make a killing buying it early. Hmm, even as a 13 year old I thought to myself that someone else might have already thought of that!

Yep, I quite liked it. We had no idea then, of course, that those kind of characters in reality would lead us into the banking crisis, recession and depression...

I remember it well and used to enjoy watching it. I don't think it ever built a massive audience so only lasted one series (or was it two) but I always found it quite entertaining. I remember the yellow Porsche and a lot of GTIs and seem to remember one character deliberately crashing into the back of a girl's car just so he could chat her up.

Yes used to enjoy watching it when I moved to London and working in the City as well....reality was very different though. Enjoyed it indeed.
