"How to go fast and influence people" (Story of the F1)

Sunday 8 p.m. BBC4

Also two articles in Car Mag (not sure if that's out yet - they're worth a read).

Sky EPG thinks this is a programme about his inexpensive city car, not the F1.

All I know is what I heard from Stella (his wife) - it's called: "How to go Fast and Influence People -- the Gordon Murray F1 Story"

ETA the Car mag articles she sent are all about the F1, so I assume the BBC prog will be too.

The Fan car was a brilliant idea.

Yes it's about the City Car thing, not the F1 car.

It's about both - although the City Car 'marketing spiel' is starting to grate on me somewhat given how great the rest of the programme is!

I turned off after the Fan car when they started talking about the green issue of building in Asia and selling in Europe. I'l watch it on iPlayer and skip to the F1 bits.

Really enjoying this.

You could launch the F1 today and it would still be bang up to date. It just hasn't aged at all.

Stumbled across this by accident, what a gem, even more so considering most TV is inane drivel these days.

Must be an age thing, i could watch stuff like this all day!

yes

For all that people (me included) eulogise the F40; the Macca in reality is the ultimate supercar.

Plus the playboy "driver plus two women" layout is much more fun!

I know it isn't a fire breathing V12 but I'd like to see the T25 make it into commercial production. There has to be a market for well engineered small city cars in the modern congested environment.
