Ok i'm going to risk it

the Mullah is a trekker (not trekkie)

star trek going dark knight?

When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.

With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction.

As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.

Star Trek Into Darkness, starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve and Peter Weller, arrives on May 17th, 2013.”

Looking at that pic I can't see it being better than the last film. Shame frown

So what you're saying is, if my view doesn't coincide with yours I'm being miserable then? rofl

Personally I didn't hate the film, just thought it felt a bit too "Star Wars" to be a Star Trek film. My expectation when watching Star Trek is at the very least that it is "Star Trek".

Yes. You are clearly a miserable old man. I can picture you, cowboy hat perched on your head, with your Kirk figurine, proclaiming your love.

It is quite an upsetting thought.

Is Benedict Cumberbach's character still rumoured to be Kahn? Read a snippet in a film Mag about th possibility of it.

I thought he 2009 film (Can it really be 3 years ago!) was brilliant. Can wait for the next one.

Can't say I like the synopsis at all.

It's Star Trek. It's not meant to be set at home.

If it does not involve exploring new life and civilisations, boldly going where no one has gone before, then it ain't Star Trek !

Indeed. I know a fair few people who don't like "Star Trek" but who still enjoyed this film. And me, I think it was pretty great. I can happily watch it several times.

So he'll be the one to blame for all those questionable taste Rangies.
