As a cyclist all I can say is these cyclists are stupidly aggressive and put themselves in these situations. And that Gareth looks a smug tw@t.

It all yet again comes down to the selfishness of individuals & failing to anticipate or plan further ahead than the next two car lengths. Drivers & cyclists....

How much do I have to pay to get him alone for five minutes with a crow bar in my hand? What an absolute maggot. I hope he ends-up underneath one of those taxis.

Just been watching this and it does seem that most of the drivers in the clips do seem to be obese. I wouldn't be surprised if some of these cyclists in London taped a screwdriver to the frame just to do a rear three quarter panel or back door on the quiet.

I think it's been an interesting and at times shocking program, I must however say that the cyclist who quoted:

"I command the road"

Is a massive antagonist and a bit of a self righteous wally. I don't see how the cabbie was wrong in the video.

To be totally honest from my experience most cylcists have absolutely no regard for anything, they ride through red lights, weave in and out of traffic etc.

And I'm not being funny but I find it laughable that someone can shout abuse, hit someones car and then complain when the driver is angry...What the hell do you expect?!4

Edit: And those cyclists "racing" towards the end of the programme is typical of most cyclists to be fair...and I bet they'll be the first to complain about car drivers the day they get knocked over.

Watched quite a few of his videos, seems even with a cycle lane he rides on the black stuff forcing drivers closer to him. Does seem to force situations, his life for youtube hits maybe.

Its all 6 of one and half a dozen of the other, more of those bobbys on bikes though to police them good idea for inner cities.

Felt a bit sorry for the black chap near the end with the camera+lights, good of him to get back on a bike after something that obviously scarred him mentally.

To be honest from my persepctive most car drivers are morons with zero toloerance for anyone else on the roads.

As a cyclist and car driver if you hit someone's car be prepared to follow it through if they get out the car. Smacking a car is like smacking a person.

You're right there are bad drivers on the road, but from what I see if there's a cyclist on the road most cars move over and allow loads of space. Yes you'll get some car drivers who don't but they seem to be a minority. I've never in all my time driving seen the majority of cars not allow extra space for a cyclist, infact the majority stop dead when they see a cyclist (causing a build up of traffic) and wait until they can move into the other lane (which is frustrating as it's not a bus they're going past)

Cyclists weaving in and out of traffic are not a minority, the same way bikers who weave in and out and come tearing through stationary traffic are not a minority.

The couriers on the show tonight were assholes plain and simple. Its difficult to convey how vulnerable you are on a bike and what it feels like when something passes you at speed and you feel yourself being dragged into them, very, very scary. I dont ever ride way out from the kerb as it pisses people off. In the same way there is no way in hell I would put myself on the inside of anyhing turning right, learnt that years ago riding a moped. In general I still say that driver training doesn't do enough to make people aware and urge cyclists to ride defensively rather than go out of their way to challenge steel boxes. There are times though...I didn't understand why when that thug got out of the car the rest of the guys didn't pile in and help?

Most educational. In exchange for an hour of my life I have learnt:
Some cyclists are tossers.
Some drivers are tossers.
A tosser with a camera becomes even more of a tosser.

I'm frankly stunned. I mean, who knew?
