For quite some time I have had the opinion that Richard Hammond is the most annoying tt on tv. The silly hair, girly necklace, the 'rockstar' style of dress, that expression with wide open eyes stating the bleedin' obvious whilst trying to look cute, the pathetic lead-in lines for Clarkson to crack another unfunny joke that's been told in most Top Gear programmes before banghead But even after all that I was trying to resist a post like this, until now. I've just watched 'Hammond meets Moss'. I thought now there's a bloke I'd like to listen to about his experiences [MOSS]. Got to Moss's off then it turned into, 'let's talk about me' about Hammonds off. What a me-me! Hoped for more, got less. furious
Any other candidate for most annoying tt on TV?
PS; Andrew Stone runs a very close second but not motoring related.

I didn't see it, I thought it was Patrick Stewart meets Moss? Much better to watch Stewart than Hammond but he doesn't get on my tits as much as he does on yours!

Is that Brat really his?

To the OP: If you don't like Richard Hammond why would you watch a show called "Hammond meets Moss"?

Err, read the post, wanted to listen to MOSS and hoped to get past the Hammond thing.

Hammond and Moss have both been in crashes and had brain injuries at the time. The point of the programme was to 'compare notes' with what happened to them. I thought it was a good programme. I thought this thread was going to be about Total Wipeout or the new hidden camera thing he presents, that is 'Annoying Hammond'. This was a decent programme.

yes

Total Wipeout is dross. The Moss show was excellent. I even enjoy the Engineering Connections show that he presents.

Ahem, somehow knew it'd be a mistake. I saw a programme advertised as 'Hammond meets Moss'. Not Hammond talks accidents to someone. I hoped for a programme about Moss, just Moss. Yes hammond annoys the bloody hell out of me. So, thought I'd voice and ask if anyone else is more annoying?

If you were a vegetarian would you try a sausage sandwich because you loved bread?

I also think Hammond is a twunt but I did enjoy that programme and thought Moss found it interesting as he'd probably not discussed it with someone who had a similar accident and is a celeb.

The Hammond Meets Moss prog is actually very good and shows what he is capable of given a decent remit. What Hammond needs to do is to tell his agent to stop saying "he'll do it" to every job offer that drops through the letterbox.

But as for "most annoying tt" - jeez, there's a long long list ahead of Hammond, with Ant and Dec at the top (or is that the bottom?)

Tim Shaw, Tim Lovejoy and Tom Ford. All weapons-grade tcensoreds IMO. Far worse than Hammond.

Ever since we got Netflix we have been going through old Top Gears and back then Hammond used to be quite good.

The weakest of the three presenters I would agree but bearable even entertaining at times.

And he's not even mentioned Marcus Brigstock or 'Miranda'. WTH is she for? Funny? No.

Hammond might have his moments (thanks Morrisons) but he'd have to be going some to make "most annoying.... on TV" given the very severe opposition!
