Al Pacino fee for Sky advert
Discussion
No idea but I adore that little blond girl.
Initially thought it was cute Sarah Alexander http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQqVNbeQWT...
But, no a different actress.

There was the Bruce Willis one too. cant be cheap . cancelled my sky subscription now, tired of the endless repeats, fake reality shows and most of the sheer volume of ads
I've seen this a lot about volume of ads...what do people mean? Normally it is about US to UK TV and I still don't get it.A show that is on Ch4 that lasts 30 mins still lasts 30 mins on a Sat channel. Same in the US, the show is the same duration (they just intersperse the ads at different times).

I don't think that's the case. Usually shows in the US are about 19-21 minutes long, meaning about 10 minutes of adverts. I believe shows in the UK are usually about 5 minutes longer, meaning less adverts.I could, of course, be talking complete BS!
Currently coming to the end of 6 months Sky, all channels, movies and sports for free. I had cancelled and within 2 weeks they called me back and gave me my current offer.
It's still sh!te though and I will not continue. I'll miss the odd times that I have used the remote record app on my phone tho'.
As to Al Pacino and Bruce Willis, anyone any idea about their fee?

Loads of shows on TV here are from the US. Take any sitcom/comedy e.g Friends. It's the same show content wise, they both have a 30 min time slot.

What possesses a legend like Al Pacino to do something like this? he can't need the money. Bruce Willis I can understand, the tt. But Al Pacino??? Very diappointed in him.
Eh?You know he's an actor right...?
He's not a saint you know, the dude works and here is work....
Just because he made some movies we all like, why shouldn't he do this, he might have enjoyed it, he might have thought, 'there's and easy half million' and why not!
If he were a contractor we'd be saying, be flexible, go where the work is, don't burn bridges etc. etc.
