Indeed, also in From Dusk Till Dawn. Also famous for having Cheech from Cheech and Chong in it. Very odd programe.
I have to say, I was, and still am, a huge fan of both MV and Nash Bridges.
Trend setting, cool, stylish, hugely entertaining, and so easy to watch.
The 80's really were so very good..........

Vaguely remember it from when it was on first time round. Police station is an old boat isn't it?
Wasn't there also some connection between him and the actress who plays his daughter in real life? Or am I really going mad.
Oh yes there was, ahem, a connection all right, I also read recently that Don Johnston sued the makers for many millions and won.Wasn't there also some connection between him and the actress who plays his daughter in real life? Or am I really going mad.
I like the show and watched a couple of re-runs, didn't know thay had made over a hundred episodes though. They should re run Miami Vice, that would be good

It's apparently set 10 years or so after the original series ended - which is a bit of stretch as it's nearer 20 and Don Johnson and Cheech Marin are pushing 70.
Currently, it's a one off TV movie that will lead to a series if it's well enough received.
The 'Cuda was spotted on set but they seemed to be driving a Dodge Demon Hellcat convertible which is probably the spiritual successor.

There is still talk of a Miami Vice reboot, with Don Johnson, but at least he's wise enough to see the inherent problems with such a project.

It'll be interesting to see the story behind the car,
The original 'Cuda was a massive part of the original show and already worth a fortune back then..
The current estimates for a genuine Hemi 'Cuda convertible were $6.5 million.
Perhaps it goes to a museum and they get the Demon Hellcat as a runaround?
