Starts tonight.

Comedy series from Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith (League of Gentlemen). I've seen the ads for it and it does look promising, the cast list for tonight's is just about everybody, ever hehe .

Wednesdays, 10pm BBC2 http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03tvq6m

Nope - looks like someone's believing their own publicity, let's hope next week is better.

My fave L of G line - taxi driver "seen my cock? It's in a jaaaaaar" kills me that line .

I really enjoyed it. I've not seen League of Gentlemen properly, only the odd clip here and there and not seen any of Psychoville but I will now be buying the dvds.

I found Sardines to be interesting from start to finish. I have a thing for dark comedy and this hit the spot. Decent writing, good cast and a great ending. Really looking forward to next weeks episode. Will no doubt watch Sardines again a few times between now and next week.

I really enjoyed it. Nice to see a comedy a bit different to the standard set up. The ending was very good.

Christ what did I miss - I watched it all the way through and didn't find anything even remotely amusing or even hinting at funny - just unrelated interaction between unexplained characters.

Help me - have I had a humour bypass ?

Thought it was really good, I like black comedy. I also like clever one off drama, looking forward to the next one.

Humour is a personal thing, although I would not have classified this as a 'comedy'. I only smiled, it was not meant to be a laugh-out-loud comedy.

I really enjoyed it - have watched the first episode twice. Understated and thoroughly enjoyable - black comedy at its best. I've recently rediscovered the LoG repeats on Gold - my OH hasn't watched it before and loves it. Anyone who hasn't seen LoG before is missing out on an absolute treat.
