They can't stop saying it.

As well as everyone greeting the dog with a cheery, "Hello N....." it's also the codeword for a successful hit on the dam!

Have to laugh,.... every time this film is shown and a topic opened up on PH, the only thing usually mentioned is that blasted word....

No discussion about the merits of the actual film itself....

Well no - why would you need to discuss the merits of the best film ever?

My favourite line:-

"Do you think if you told them I designed it....that might help"

There's a clip on youtube with every single offending scene stitched together. It will make you snigger like a naughty Jeremy Clarkson.
Obviously white liberal PC gestapo types might be proxy offended, so I won't post the link.

Shame the film is full of inaccuracies, because otherwise it's a rattling good yarn!

But keep watching, there's a new documentary starting.

Halfway through and no mention of Tirpitz.

So far, it's the best documentary I've ever seen about 617.

Re discussions about the film - SHUT UP ABOUT THE fkING DOG!!! GIVE IT A fkING REST!!!

I hereby propose Dogwin's Law - any mention of the N word in relation to black labradors is an automatic thread closer.

Documentary is very good - amazing that there's a wrecked Lanc in a Swedish bog! What they didn't mention was that, because they were so expensive, if the crews failed to drop their Grand Slams they had to bring them back. Imagine landing with *that* on board...

Outstanding documentary. Unbelievable bravery and very well presented by a chap that knows a thing or two about bravery as opposed to some air head celeb. Showed real respect the surviving contributors.

By some way the best thing I have ever watched on channel 5.

+1, Mega documentary and not at all over the top like some of them tend to be. I really enjoyed that.
