Just seen this too, I think we all liked Lawrence of Arabia as well as Dr Zhivago, two roles that will be remembered for above all else he did.

Just watched Dr Zhivago, because I felt I should....

Good grief it's awful. Huge unexplained jumps in timeline, one theme song endlessly repeated, preposterous chance meetings with Lara, politically makes GB news look well balanced. Awful.

I quite like Lawrence of Arabia.

He used to own an amazing house in Lanzarote, that is open for public visits. Well worth seeing if you are on holiday there.

Yep, he didn't own the house long did he, but it's pretty cool as are the other properties by Cesar Manrique on the island.

I wish I'd known about the other Manrique properties before I visited. I want to go back just to see his house. This feature window is amazing...
